Bathroom renovation on gulf islands home. A dark but functional bathroom gets new fixtures, finishes and a new look.
A penthouse suite overlooking Victoria’s outer harbour, this one-of-a kind interior explored innovative solutions to make the most of its 360-degree views. In 2009, the suite won two Gold CHBA CARE awards (best innovative feature and best kitchen) and three Silver CHBA CARE awards. It was also nominated for two CHBA Georgie Awards in 2009.
Designed for entertaining, this residential condo began its life as two separate units. Its focal point is a central kitchen with an exquisite chandelier and custom finishes throughout. Nominated for a 2010 CHBA CARE Award for Best Interior – Residential 1,000-3,600 sq. ft. as well as Best Master Suite Over 500 sq. ft.
This 6500 square foot custom home in Orange County was designed and fully furnished by Smithdesigns. The majestic staircase was designed and manufactured onsite and its kitchen was designed around an antique piece with wood finishes chosen to match.
Located in the same building as 910 Swallow’s Landing and 605 Panorama, this condo was designed to feel like a home instead of an eighth floor suite and was built around a Tuscan art gallery hallway that connects the spaces. The design won a 2009 Gold CHBA CARE award for its master suite, as well as three Silver CHBA CARE Awards. It was also nominated for a 2009 CHBA Georgie Award.
A dark, awkward and cold 1920s cottage kitchen was transformed into a highly functioning modern kitchen – making the most of its orchard view but keeping the spirit of the home’s original architecture. Nominated for a 2010 CHBA CARE award for best residential renovation or restoration between $100,000-$200.000.
